blessed are those who mourn

My pastor's wife shared this scripture for encouragement.
"Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted." (Mt. 5:4)

-blessed is defined as "claiming divine care for"
-mourn is defined as "a period of time which signs of grief are shown"
-shall is defined as "this reveals God's will and promise"
-comforted is defined as "to give strength and hope, freedom from pain, trouble, or anxiety"

Therefore, from this blessing from Jesus Himself, we can claim the promise of His divine care for us as we travel this journey of grief together.  His desire and will is for us to be strengthened and free as we come to Him.
